Juno-nominated Quartetto Gelato return for a third year at Canmore Uncorked, and will lead you on a musical tour of Canmore featuring great dining, inspiring music and gorgeous venues. The performers walk and eat with the guests as you visit four different venues, enjoying a course and a paired beverage at each.
At the end of each course the band will play a 20-minute set of music influenced by the food and the ambiance of the individual venue, finishing at one of Canmore’s favourite bistros. The music and the overall experience have caused many a tear to be shed on this tour, but only in the most positive way!
Welcome drink and hors d’oevres (Tapas)
Elk Tartare with dried cherries, maple balsamic, smoked salt, and crushed pecans. Butter leaf lettuce and a smoked garlic butter crostini. (Avens Gallery - catered by Chef Bryn King, Cornerstone Theatre)
Brined and Smoked Boar Bacon Cannelloni carbonara. With shallots, wild mushrooms, manchego cheese, stuffed inside Canmore Pasta Co Pasta. Gin infused juniper berries and candied apples. (Carter Ryan Gallery - catered by Chef Bryn King, Cornerstone Theatre)
Bison Wellington with a port duxelles, serrano, herb puff pastry. Blueberry and wild mushroom sauce. Served with braised leek duchess potato, and black garlic buttered asparagus. (The Hive Gallery - catered by Chef Bryn King, Cornerstone Theatre)
