WHEN IT COMES TO FRESHNESS & FLAVOUR, CANMORE PASTA CO. ISN'T NOODLING AROUND

Quality ingredients and authentic preparation methods are kings of the kitchen at this local pasta paradise.

Quality ingredients and authentic preparation methods are kings of the kitchen at this local pasta paradise.

As the owner of Canmore Pasta Company, Meghan Bryant is helping local pasta-lovers re-discover this versatile food staple—and just how much tastier it can be, when freshly and authentically hand-made.

Sourcing Saskatchewan-grown durum semolina (in contrast to commonly-used white flour), and closely following traditional Italian methods to prepare her products, Meghan's authentic approach sets a new standard far beyond conventional supermarket counterparts.

A Canmore local, Meghan also supports other neighbourhood businesses, like Valbella Gourmet Foods, which provides the meat ingredients for all of her carefully hand-crafted raviolis.

What's more, using whole eggs in every dish adds energy and protein, offering the perfect  boost for mountain adventures—and fueling Meghan's own family of two adults and three kids for ski races, hikes and more.

Cooking and sharing food is a life-long love for Meghan, who grew up in the kitchen of Assiniboine Lodge, owned by her parents, where her entire family would make meals together. Now she's passing on the tradition to her own children, so they can share in the joy of a fresh, healthy pasta that they are proud to cook and share with friends.
